1/ What are the services available at the centre
A- At the centre all ayurvedic medicine services such as health consultations, therapies and procedures are done by qualified ayurvedic practitioner.
2/ what is Panchkarma or Ayurveda detox
A- Panchakarma is a name given to five types of ayurvedic procedures performed for internal cleansing of your body which is equivalent of detox in modern terms. One or more than one of these FIve may be chosen after a thorough initial consultation identifying the need. the idea is to cleanse and declog and then maintain some treatment regime for effective results. These treatments are strictly reserved to be performed by the practitioner for a therapeutic purpose after a consultation. They are not performed on everybody and there are specific contraindications where they are not done. They are not intended to replace any medical treatments or regime. please see the services page for more details about Panchkarma.
3/ What' s the best way to make a booking or get more information ?
A- Please click contact us or send an email on home page and you will be directed to a query form once filled you will be contacted within 24 hours with your answer. Please note after a booking is made there is a strict 24hour cancellation policy which is only negotiable in extremely unavoidable circumstances. You may be charged for your session in a no show situation after a confirmed booking.
4/ Is ayurveda safe and effective ?
A- Ayurveda is one of the most ancient systems of holistic medicine with history of 5000 years and ancient wisdom, it is more than treating peoples health problems, it is a true holistic way of life. It is fully recognised by Government of India as one of the main stream health systems in the country supported by university training, education and is well respected by many developed nations. WHO also speaks of it very highly as its principles are similar to its universal definition of health and believes it can offer a big role in improving health in the next decades. Ayurveda offers promising help in many modern day health problems associated with Fad Diets and busy life style.
5/ What can be expected in an ayurvedic treatment or massage treatment
A- Ayurvedic massage is based on traditional indian massage principles . It involves the application of warm herbal oil all over the body with firm pressure on muscles and manipulation of pressure points. It also involves friction as it facilitates the movement and absorption of oil into skin. It is quite relaxing but the pressure is deep, however an initial assessmrnt of a person determines how firm it will get. You are asked to remain in minimal but comfortable clothing and only the areas to be massaged are exposed at one time for dignity. it can last from 45- 90 minutes.
6/ What are the costs ?
A- Costs vary from person to person and type of service prices start from 50$
Check our services page for monthly specials please note for discounted products there is no further discount applicable and they are generally not refunded but a service credit or a gift voucher will be given for a different service or product.
7/ How do i get health fund rebates and how does it work ?
A- You are entitled for health fund rebates for an Ayurvedic consultation which is classified under a naturopathy consultation. Single or one off massage treatments are not covered under Pvt health rebates currently However bulk or package products can be designed to have massage treatments included. If you are interested please inquire when you come for your first booking and you will be explained how it works. you will be issued an invoice for health fund purposes for your claim.
8/ Is mobile service or home visits available ?
A- Yes ! home visits can be arranged however 48 hours booking and cancellation policy applies, the Visit must be paid at the time of booking and is generally quoted at the time of booking. The minimum visit is 45 minutes & maximum visit time is 3 hours.
9/ What Payment modes are accepted ?
A- We accept onsite CASH, Visa, Mastercard, Eftpos cards, online payments are also accpeted via Paypal please see the buy online page on website and with prior arrangements Direct bank deposit is also accepted. If you would like to pay by cheque please note there is a 10% advance deposit applicable before the booking. please advice before you book.
10/ Are Gift vouchers available ?
A- Gift vouchers for most popular therapies and treatments are available please contact to explore your options.
11/ Can i book online ?
A- Yes! online booking is provided by a third party service ( Clickbook.net or book fresh ) through this website where you may need to register only once then you will advised of available times on the page and a booking request initiated, it will however need to be approved and confirmed which generally happens within 1-2 hours or less. Please note the final booking is only made once you hear from the centre by phone, SMS or email.
12/ I have purchased a prepaid voucher, how do i Book ?
A- if you have purchased a prepaid voucher from a third party affiliate(Living Social, Deals.com) pls note the booking will be subject to availability and are limited as these are offered on first call first serve basis. The best way to book is to use the make a booking form from the Make a Booking page or email directly to [email protected] . The minimum response time is 24 hours and in busy times can be 2-3 days as there are existing commitments for the clinic as first priority. If you have called please leave a detailed message and you will be contacted in 24hours by phone or SMS.
